I guess these are in the "kinda healthier" category because at least they are homemade! No hydrogenated oils...or weird preservatives...and did I mention that we had these FOR dinner!?! Now this is not typical granola- but sometimes you just gotta!
2 sticks of real butter, softened
1 1/2 cups of sugar (We usually use cane sugar- but Skylar used regular for these)
2 large eggs
2 3/4 c flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
Mix wet ingredients. Stir in mixed, dry ingredients.
Roll into balls about the size of a walnut. Roll in a mixture of half cinnamon, half sugar(3T each).
Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
I just enjoyed one for dessert with a cup of vanilla hot chocolate! It smells so good in here!!!
